After Breakfast Proceed to Kalpa which is the main town of the district is set at a height of 2759 meters about 95 k/m from Sarahan by Road and it takes 4 Hrs. Kalpa earlier know as Chini affords a panoramic view of the majestic kinner Kailash. It came into prominence when Lord Dalhousie proposed the construction of Hindustan-Tibet road in the 19th Century.

It is also famous for Nako Lake which has boating facilities in summer and during winter its frozen surface is used for ice skating. After breakfast transfer to Tabo by Road which is 65 k/m From Nako and take 2 hrs to arrive. Tabo the ancient village which was founded in 996 AD, Tabo is situated on the left bank of river Spiti. Flanked on either side by hills, it is one of the most important Buddhist monasteries regarded by many as only next to the Tholing Gompa in Tibet.
It is also known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas. Tabo is the largest monastic complex of Spiti which has since been declared a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.
